The Bi Polar Bears are a 4 piece Classic / Modern Rock/ Blues Band in the South San Francisco Bay Area. We play your favorite tunes and many you don’t normally hear from your favorite bands. The Bi Polar Bears have four members: Bob Bowne (Lead Vocals and Bass Guitar), Rick Smith (Drums and Backing Vocals), Ron Senior (Guitars and Backing Vocals) and Barry Nolan (Keyboards and Vocals). Each Member has a unique musical background and style which adds to the blend that creates a distinctive sound. Bob is from Michigan, Rick is from Pennsylvania, Ron is from The Bay Area and Barry is from Ireland. 

The Bi Polar Bears have built a steady following since 2008 and have played all over the San Francisco Bay Area including: Night Clubs, Festivals, Relay for Life, Car Shows, Private Parties and Corporate Events.

The Bi Polar Bears always deliver a spirited high energy performance wherever it may be. Each performance always promises to deliver moments of humor and element s of surprise such as combining songs and overlapping tunes and improvising which always makes the performance exciting and unpredictable.
